Cool Devices
I am looking for a new cool phone to replace my blackberry. It does work, does a fairly good job, but it is getting old. Hell, it has 18 months! Also, the screen is quite small, surfing is quite a nightmare, it doesn’t have GPS. It does mail particularly good, but sometimes it would re-boot by itself and loose my old mails.
We got quite nice gear lined up these days.
The uber-present iPhone. No way, it doesn’t have any keyboard and I am told is a nightmare for business use. And I always had technical issues with Apple products. Have I just been out of luck?
The cool HTC Touch Pro is tempting me. Nice look, good keyboard, great screen (although not particularly big). Ok, it runs MS Mobile, but with a cool GUI. Maybe a bit bulky? The Diamond feels good in hand, the pro haven’t had a chance to handle yet. Shame.
Next candidate on the list is Sony Experia X1. If only it was around, it might be the one. Curved, slightly bigger screen than HTC, cool. Supposedly on the shelves October 1st in UK, it is a must see. Maker? HTC.
And the Android phone just came out. It looks cool, I prefer the HTC and X1 from a look and feel standpoint, but the Androids applications look very interesting, and it’s potential promising. Technically, it’s not a Google phone. It’s a T-Mobile G1. Maker? HTC. Any doubt?
I’ll have to wait a bit to take a decision, but the iPhone is already excluded. What;s your favourite?
